Wild Seagrass

An original design in fresh colours

This is a pattern inspired by the sea. It has great movement, you can see the seagrass swaying in the current. It uses lovely stitches, some in interesting ways, to create detail and texture. And because each piece of seagrass is different, it keeps the embroidery interesting to do. The arrangement of the design is slightly unusual. It gives the embroidery a contemporary feel. That and the fresh colour combination of green, jade and white.

This design measures 16½ x 7 inches | 42x18cm

The pattern includes:

A list of the fabric, DMC thread colours and needle types and sizes you’ll need to complete the embroidery.

Instructions for four different ways to transfer the design to fabric.

A crisp, clean and precise line drawing of the design at the right size (with a join line) for printing at home, and at half size for enlarging on to larger paper. Everything is also given in reverse if you want to create iron-on transfers. 

The artwork is set up to fit on A4 or US letter-sized paper for easy printing on a home printer.

Clear and easy to follow embroidery instructions that tell you which stitch, thread colour and how many strands of thread to use.

Helpful tips to make it even easier for you to replicate the design.

High-quality, full-colour photos to refer to while stitching and zoom in on to see the stitching up close.
