The Embroiderer's Directory gathers hand embroiderers from around the world who earn a living by sharing their talents with you. There are no corporations or AI, just humans creating for humans. Whether that's designing patterns, teaching workshops, running an embroidery supplies shop or any of the other creative and helpful things they do to keep you happily stitching and the art form thriving.

Everyone in the directory has been vetted, so you can confidently support the individuals and small businesses who enhance your embroidery life. There are indexes — search according to specialty, embroidery style, product or service and country — to make navigating the directory quick and easy. And it's in the form of a digital book, so you can save it to any device and then click or tap your way around and go straight to all the independent websites listed. There are also gorgeous images of all the embroidery on offer, so you could simply immerse yourself in it for a bit and see what gets you excited and inspired to stitch.

This first edition is available as pay what you want, at three predetermined prices — one of which is free. So you can decide what all this information is worth to you while avoiding a paralysing blinking cursor. This is to keep the directory accessible to everyone, no matter your financial situation, but help cover the time it took me to compile and create the directory.
