Fresh, original designs full of detail and great stitches

These patterns are inspired by the sea. The colours are pure ocean, from sea green to jade to deep blue. The arrangement of the designs is fairly unique, giving them a contemporary feel. Along with the fresh colours. They’re packed with great stitches – some used in interesting ways – to create detail, depth and texture. And because each piece of coral, kelp and seagrass is different, it keeps the embroidery interesting to do.

They’ve been framed as art, embroidered on to lamp shades and used to customise clothing. Also split up to create sets of napkins and tea towels. They’re versatile and just a joy to embroider.

• A list of the fabric, DMC thread colours and needle types and sizes you’ll need to complete the embroidery.
• Instructions for four different ways to transfer the design to fabric.
• A crisp, clean and precise line drawing of the design at the right size (with a join line) for printing at home, and at half size for enlarging on to larger paper. It’s also given in reverse if you want to create iron-on transfers. 
• The artwork is set up to fit on A4 or US letter-sized paper for easy printing on a home printer.
• Clear and easy to follow embroidery instructions that tell you which stitch, thread colour and how many strands of thread to use.
• Helpful tips to make it even easier for you to replicate the design.
• High-quality, full-colour photos to refer to while stitching and zoom in on to see the stitching up close.
