These patterns are inspired by the prairies and meadows of the countryside. And the wildflowers, medicinal plants and reeds that grow along the waterways and in fields. The colours are lush and verdant, from deep green to vibrant yellow and crisp green. The arrangement of the designs is fairly unique too, giving them a contemporary feel along with the colours. They’re packed with great stitches – some used in interesting ways – to create detail, depth and texture. And because each wildflower, herb and reed is different, it keeps the embroidery interesting to do.

They’ve been framed as art, embroidered on to tea towels, tablecloths and scatter cushions. And been split up to create sets of napkins. They’re versatile and a pleasure to embroider.

All three designs measure 16¼ x 7 inches | 42x18cm

The patterns include:

• A list of the fabric, DMC thread colours and needle types and sizes you’ll need to complete the embroidery.
• Instructions for four different ways to transfer the design to fabric.
• A crisp, clean and precise line drawing of the design at the right size (with a join line) for printing at home, and at half size for enlarging on to larger paper. It’s also given in reverse if you want to create iron-on transfers. 
• The artwork is set up to fit on A4 or US letter-sized paper for easy printing on a home printer.
• Clear and easy to follow embroidery instructions that tell you which stitch, thread colour and how many strands of thread to use.
• Helpful tips to make it even easier for you to replicate the design.
• High-quality, full-colour photos to refer to while stitching and zoom in on to see the stitching up close.
