Each monogram style in this pattern uses a different whipped embroidery stitch, creating beautiful detail with a fresh twist. If you've not tried whipped stitches before, you’re in for a treat – they’re simple to learn and fun to stitch, giving your lettering extra texture and depth while letting you play with colour combinations to make each monogram uniquely yours.

Whipped Monograms includes four complete alphabets, one for each style, to personalise gifts, homeware and keepsakes. You’ll also find an ampersand and a plus sign for adding a thoughtful “and” to your designs.

The monograms measure 2½ – 2¾ inches (6-7cm) in size.

The pattern includes:

• A list of the fabric, DMC thread colours and needle types and sizes you’ll need to complete the embroidery.
• Instructions for four different ways to transfer the design to fabric.
• A crisp, clean and precise line drawing of the design at the right size for embroidering. It’s also given in reverse if you want to create an iron-on transfer.
• The artwork is set up to fit on A4 or US letter-sized paper for easy printing on a home printer.
• Clear and easy to follow embroidery instructions that tell you which stitch, thread colour and how many strands of thread to use.
• Helpful tips to make it even easier for you to replicate the design.
• High-quality, full-colour photos to refer to while stitching and zoom in on to see the stitching up close.
