Four sets of fresh monograms with striped details
Each of the monogram styles in this pattern makes use of a different whipped embroidery stitch. Not done any whipped stitches? You’re in for a treat. They add a whole new level of detail and you’ll have fun playing around with colours to make this two-tone stitching your own. Use it to personalise gifts, homeware and special items.
The pattern includes full alphabets for each of the different styles. As well as an ampersand and plus sign to use for “and” if needed.

The monograms are 2½ – 2¾ inches (6-7cm) in size.
The pattern includes:
- A list of the fabric, DMC thread colours and needle types and sizes you’ll need to complete the embroidery.
- Instructions for four different ways to transfer the monograms to fabric.
- Crisp, clean and precise line drawings of the monograms at the right size for tracing on, as well as in reverse if you want to create an iron-on transfer. The artwork is set up to fit on A4 or US letter-sized paper for easy printing on a home printer.
- Clear and easy to follow embroidery instructions that tell you which stitch, thread colour and how many strands of thread to use.
- Helpful tips to make it even easier for you to replicate the letters.
- High-quality, full-colour photos to refer to while stitching and zoom in on to see the stitching up close.
- Support before and after you’ve bought. Get in touch any time, just remember I’m in South Africa so our time zones may differ.
You’ll find detailed and easy to follow instructions on how to do all the embroidery stitches used in this pattern in 120 Embroidery Stitches, which you can find in the books section.
