Eight realistic fish full of great stitches

Scales are always fun to embroider and you’ll use a different stitch for each of the fish in this pattern. The fins and tails are really striking, too. There are eight lifelike fish – based on the likes of tuna, swordfish, turbot and plaice – that you can embroider as is or split up into individual designs. Ideal for coastal and country homes, and those who love fishing.

This design measures 10 x 10 inches | 25x25cm. The fish range from 2 inches to 8 inches | 5cm to 20cm in length. 

The pattern includes:

• A list of the fabric, DMC thread colours and needle types and sizes you’ll need to complete the embroidery.
• Instructions for four different ways to transfer the design to fabric.
• A crisp, clean and precise line drawing of the design at the right size (with a join line) for printing at home, and at half size for enlarging on to larger paper. Plus the individual fish at the right size on single pages. Everything is also given in reverse if you want to create iron-on transfers. 
• The artwork is set up to fit on A4 or US letter-sized paper for easy printing on a home printer.
• Clear and easy to follow embroidery instructions that tell you which stitch, thread colour and how many strands of thread to use.
• Helpful tips to make it even easier for you to replicate the design.
