Peach + Plum

A gorgeously plump, botanical fruit design

A pair of plump stone fruit – a peach and a plum – complete with their leaves. Worked in classic colours, with subtle differences in shade that add depth and richness to the embroidery.

The organic shapes and flowing forms inside give these fruits a distinctive look. The design uses a variety of embroidery stitches, keeping things interesting as you work. There’s a hint of crewel embroidery, but it feels fresh and modern. It also introduces some new ideas for filling areas with stitching, in a way that’s relaxed but still creates areas of satisfyingly full colour.

Stitch them as a pair or as individual fruits, depending on what you’re making. They’re perfect for kitchen décor, aprons, tea towels, wall art, napkins… and make timeless gifts that don’t take an age to embroider.
