An embroidery sampler for learning and practising
Knots and knotted rows of stitching really raise your embroidery up off the surface of the fabric. They’re irresistibly tactile, creating that fantastic texture that makes you want to run your hand over the stitching. And there are so many ways to create this texture too, with all the different stitches available in the knotted stitch family. Ever wanted to give your stitching a haircut? There’s a knot for that, too.
This pattern is designed as an accompaniment to 150 Embroidery Stitches. Detailed instructions on how to do all the straight stitches in this sampler can be found in the book here.
