Gingerbread Houses

Full of stitched frosting for the festive season

Whipping and layering and knotting in winter white thread gives these snowy houses the look of decorative, iced gingerbread. A fairy-tale staple for the holidays. Embroidered rather than baked.

You can stitch Gingerbread Houses as is in a snowy scene, or use the houses individually for smaller projects. The pattern includes line drawings for both options. The design is also easy to scale bigger or smaller, to suit your project. And because each house is stitched in different shades of the same colour, you can easily swap them for your favourites, to make the embroidery your own and fit in with your holiday décor.

This design measures 10 x 6¾ inches | 25x17cm.
